Like Minox with its 110 S, Voigtländer made the bet of quality with 110 film. The mark thus made manufacture in Singapore, this camera of very beautiful completion.
It was delivered in a Box containing a flash “Easy Light System” (from where the EL of the name of the camera), a dragonne to be screwed at an end of the camera and staples. This one fit in the flash clip (when this last was not there), and thanks to it, the camera, very small, could be put in a pocket of jacket or shirt without risk that it escapes from it. The direction of the staples makes it possible to hide the camera inside a jacket and to take photographs by opening this one.
A CdS cell controls the exposure, but it should be assisted by posting a diaphragm corresponding to a sun, a cloud. In the finder, a red diode indicates speeds lower than 1/30 of second.
The lens is a fix-focus multi-coated Lanthar 5,6/24 mm with 3 lenses.
Release is done in two times, since a pressure with mid- race makes it possible to control the exposure.
The flash has a guide number of 14 per 100 ASA.
This camera was manufactured 1978 to 1981. Model 110 (not EL) was manufactured since 1976.
